Bowers & Wilkins for Polestar

With 1,610 watts of power, 25 speakers, 3D Surround Sound, and Dolby Atmos, the bespoke Bowers & Wilkins audio system delivers a unique, immersive listening experience that stays true to the original recording.

Active road noise cancellation

Bundled with the Bowers & Wilkins audio system, Active road noise cancellation keeps out excessive wind, tyre, and road noise without blocking important sounds like sirens and car horns.

Headrest speakers

Each front seat headrest is fitted with two 40 mm full-range speakers, enriching the spatial audio perception.

Head-up display

Extending the functionality of Pilot Assist, Lane change assist allows Polestar 3 to guide itself into the adjacent driving lane. All the driver has to do is move the indicator stalk fully up or down, and the car will only proceed if the system’s camera and radars indicate it’s safe.

Infrared windscreen

A special coating allows the infrared windscreen to filter out the infrared waves of sunlight and reflect them back into the atmosphere. This lowers the experienced cabin temperature up to 3.3 °C and reduces energy demand on the climate control system.

Acoustic lower rear window

The upgraded lower rear window is made of the same laminated acoustic glass as the other windows. A special noise-reducing layer helps make the Polestar 3 cabin even quieter.

Foldable load floor

To prevent objects from moving around, the cargo floor has a lid that folds up to support items like grocery bags and packages. It can keep them in place, either standing or hanging from hooks.

Advanced Air Cleaner

The most sophisticated air filtration system in any Polestar to date detects air particles down to 2.5 micrometres. The Advanced Air Cleaner exchanges all 3,000 litres of cabin air every minute, filtering out 95% of incoming harmful particles, 97% of viruses, and 99.9% of pollen for fresh breathing air.

Power-operated steering column

Power-operated controls allow the driver to adjust the steering column to achieve the right height and reach. The preferred position can be saved in the driver profile to avoid having to make adjustments again after sharing the car.

Soft-close doors

Push a door lightly and the soft-close sensors will detect it. When it touches the locking mechanism, an electric motor takes over and gently pulls the door shut.
